Last Sunday, we sort of forgot the time change and arrived at church precisely an hour late!

Please pray for our dear friend Karen (in picture). A little less than a week ago she was in a car accident and severely injured. She is now in critical condition and unless she is transported to Ghana or the Lord performs a miracle, she may not last another week.

Joe went shopping!

During the civil war in Liberia, all the buildings were stripped for the materials. This hotel used to be five stars. You can see what it is now.

A Liberian young woman

I recently went to a Christian missions/photojournalism conference in Fort Worth. It was so amazing and very encouraging to meet so many likeminded people. Almost everyone there had been to Africa!

The photoshop guru Scott Kelby.

A married Masai woman (notice the many colored beads). I know, such a typical and uncreative photo. Really. Google Masai women. I guarantee you will find a photo almost exactly like this. But still.... I like it!

Relaxing...

p.s. I would really recommend both of those books.

Just because....

Students on campus.

Masai warriors dancing.

Mom found some of our favorite sauces that we had in Africa.

These guys should really compete in a slam dunk contest or something!

Can't wait to finally be able to swim!

Thought I'd put up a few safari pictures here and there. It was amazing how close we were able to get to these animals. Truly amazing. God is wonderful!

catching up

Dad and Joe on a boys night out... and yes I was jealous so I tagged along.

Masai men showing off their jumping skills. Someday these two guys will have several fine wives.

Flowers that my wonderful mother gave to me!

Took a while, but they finally got a fire started!

Joe and his dear friend Jeremy

Cows and goats are a big part of the Masai culture.

Sometimes I get desperate. Sorrrrrry...

A two year old Masai boy.

So tired of this cold weather. Can't wait for summer!
