Some of the shells we found in Liberia. I know this picture isn't good but I sort of forgot to take one until it was a little too late.

Dad and Joe went up to play tennis together. I'm not sure who won... maybe Joe!

The guards in Liberia pretending to club Dad. At first they didn't quite get why they would pretend to club "miso Paetty," but then they realized it was for fun!

This girl was enjoying playing jumprope with all the other children in the village. I love the missing two front teeth!

I know this picture is really weird. I just wanted to try something different... and I did. So, with that said, this isn't my favorite. But, it was fun!

Mom brought this nesting doll back for me when they went to Russia to adopt Iryna. It is pretty special!

Two Masai men run to greet a van load of tourists. Where we were, the tourist industry was a great source of income to the Masai people.

Iryna and I decided to go out and play with bubbles... again. We had a lot of fun!

Notice the necklaces. In the Masai culture, the more necklaces a woman has, the more desirable she is. If she is unmarried, like the girl in the picture, she only wears red beads. We learned that before a girl is married, she is given red necklaces by all the men that want to court her. Thus, the more necklaces, the more desirable, and this girl was pretty well liked!

I had fun playing with bubbles today! I got lots of fun colorful photos but I really like how the light shines on the popped bubbles on my lens.

Snow in Texas? Two years in a row? Isn't this just supposed to happen like once every 10 years? Well, I enjoyed it and thought it was hilarious how all the roads were shut down with less than a half inch of snow!

We had a wonderful time with our "second sister" Krissy on Wednesday! She lived with us in South Korea and we have many good memories of her.
